Our Church's Statement of Faith

1. We believe that the Bible is God's Word and is the only source and guide for faith, doctrine, and life.

2. We accept the Lutheran Church's Confession of Faith as being in conformity with God's Word.

3. We believe that the congregation is an assembly of believing Christians in a certain locality among whom the Word of God is preached in truth and purity and where the sacraments are administered in accordance with the Lord's institution.

4. We conduct our service in a low church form of worship where the sermon, based on the Word of God, occupies the most prominent position.<\p>

5. We encourage the use of laymen as active participants in the spreading of the gospel and the furthering of the work of the Kingdom of God.

6. We are committed to dynamic church planing ministry through out "Mission to America."

7. We believe in a strong world mission emphasis and actively support such work in Asia and Africa in particular and in several other endeavors as we may be led from time to time to assist.

8. Being aware of the value of Christian Education we sponsor the Lutheran Brethren Schools at Fergus Falls, Minnesota, where, under the departments of the Academy, the Bible College, and Seminary, young people may be trained in a positive atmosphere.

9. A ministry to the aged and infirm is conducted through Broen Memorial Home of Fergus Falls, Minnesota, and Mesa Christian Home of Mesa, Arizona.

10. "Faith and Fellowship" is the official periodical of our church body.

11. Finally, we are actively interested in an evangelistic emphasis whereby men and women shall be given the opportunity of entering into a personal relationship to Jesus Christ.
